For those who were unable to attend this years retreat in New Harmony, you unfortunately missed a wonderful weekend of meditation, fellowship, relaxation, music and dance. The weekend started on Friday, June 25 with a group dance which was open to the public. We filled the hall with newcomers and many from the Evansville Dances of Universal Peace as well. People came from all over the U.S. and brought with them great energy which carried us through the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday events were mixed with early morning meditation and spiritual practices led by Yaqin Sandleben; thought-provoking dialogue with Tasnim Hernandez; great food which was catered and delivered by Mona Heinlin; a trip to the local tavern for extra refreshments, and of course wonderful music and dance led by a number of attendees and dance leaders.

Below are a few snapshots of people attending. This is the third year of gathering together in beautiful and historic New Harmony. Mark your calendars NOW for next year as it is held around the same time every year. Exact dates and details will be posted here on the website when they are confirmed or you can bookmark the website Heart to Heart of Evansville to keep posted or view more images from the retreat.
